God's Plan
I know I previously wrote a post about God's plan for our lives but its so heavy on my heart to discuss this topic again. I want everyone to know how much they don't have to worry. Guys, you don't have to waste your precious time worrying about what will happen next in your life, including your own plans. Do you know why? Because God has a plan. He had this plan before you were even born. He gives us choices, this is a part of our free will. He knows whether you're going to choose to go left or right. If you choose what's behind door number 1 there's a plan. If you choose door number 2 there's a plan. He already knows! He knows you better than you know yourself guys! I just feel that we need to hear this message and really grasp the truth that we don't have to worry & stress ourselves. God is going to work it out, actually its already worked out, already taken care of. We just have to believe and live a life following Jesus.
Isaiah 30:21 says, "And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when he turn to the right hand, and when he turn to the left."
There was a time & point in my life where I had such a profound peace because I meditated on God's truth, found in Psalm 55:22 and 1 Peter 5:7, and let it fill my heart, my Spirit. I embraced God's peace knowing He has everything under control. Every problem is already fixed. Every sickness already healed. I wasn't worrying about anything because I knew everything was already taken care of. I needed a job to pay my rent for an apartment in TN I was no longer living in because I moved out here to VA. Which also means, I needed someone to take over my lease so I wouldn't have that financial burden. I believed and trusted that God already had a plan in order. I got a job immediately after I arrived here and I made enough money to pay my rent and then some. A couple months later, I received a call from a college student looking for an apartment and willing to take over my lease. During those couple months I thanked God because I knew He had a plan for me and He knew what I needed.
Psalm 55:22
KJV
"Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved."
NIV
"Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken."
1 Peter 5:7
KJV
"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."
NIV
"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
If we would just let go and give every situation, problem, circumstance, setback, to God imagine how much more peace we would have in our lives. Just let God take care of everything. He has our backs, our fronts, our sides, above and beneath us. Yes! God is for us. And if our God is for us then who could ever stand against us?!
